| Long known as one of Santa Fe's best restaurants, Santacafé keeps evolving. Many dishes fuse Southwestern and Asian flavors, like the signature cactus and shiitake mushroom spring rolls served with a spicy ponzu sauce. The seafood dishes are exquisite, especially the organic New Zealand king salmon that is pan-seared and served with cockles, bacon and sorrel. Save room for dessert, especially the coffee bean ice cream with a pinon crisp and homemade cajeta, a golden caramel sauce. The restaurant is expensive, even by Santa Fe standards, but worth every dollar. |
