| In the middle of downtown Arlington, Sawatdee offers a glitzy take on the Thai theme. Rumor has it that its authentic décor comes straight from Thailand, which immediately puts customers in a Thai mood. The menu presents many of the familiar Thai dishes Westerners have come to love, including lemon grass soup, spring rolls, satay with peanut sauce, and, of course, pad Thai. We recommend the tom yam talay, a seafood soup served over rice noodles---it’s hot and filling---and the appetizer garden roll of shrimp and crab meat folded into a soft wrapper. Lunchtimes are particularly crowded. |
