For everyone who's had a yen to ladle a bunch of spicy crawfish etouffée, beans, cheese and rice into a giant tortilla, The Screaming Coyote is for you. In addition to the aforementioned crawfish burrito, this Florida-based chain eatery is all about exploring the possibilities of Mexican-American food without stretching the envelope too far. Standard giant burrito fillings include chicken and beef, as well as chipotle-sauced barbecued pork, wine-splashed sautéed vegetables and crispy fish. Wild burritos tap into lusty appetite dream wraps with giant portions of potatoes and pot roast (The McGuire) or chicken, feta cheese, black olives and rice (El Greco). All the other usual suspects---enchiladas, tacos, quesadillas, salads and nachos---are available, as well as an excellent roasted corn soup, white chili and very good pork tamales.
