Sen Thai Asian Bistro Restaurant Review: Sen Thai flourishes as a lunchtime destination for downtown workers, and its location just a few blocks off the busy Washington Avenue strip makes it handy for an early evening meal before functions at the Art Loft Theater or City Museum. While the menu is primarily Thai, there are incursions into Japan, China and Vietnam, as evidenced by various soba and udon noodle dishes, as well as pho in both beef and chicken variations. Particularly noteworthy is the calamari; the squid is tender, spicy and served over a bed of spinach, cucumbers, lettuce and tomatoes. The black sticky rice pudding makes for an intriguing dessert.
