Sesame Burgers & Beer Restaurant Review

: Park Circle, among North Charleston's best reviving neighborhoods, is home to one of the most creative hamburger joints around. These guys don’t make a big fuss about being fresh and local, they just do it. Each of the many burger toppers may be applied to a tasty black bean burger that’s bound with just the right amount of falafel mix, a turkey burger, or a house-made hot dog that is rustic and rich, a chicken sandwich or a good, old-fashioned beef burger. Topping possibilities include a straightforward bacon and cheddar adornment to the more exotic beet and poached egg. The appetizer menu includes onion rings with a marinated corn topping that slings just a whiff of Southwestern tang, while sides line up sweet potato fries and a simple cucumber salad that makes a good partner for a burger. And if you’re looking for something spicy, try the mahi mahi taco. The quaff of choice is, of course, any of the lovely imported and exotic brews available. Also located at Citadel Mall, 2070 Sam Rittenberg Blvd., 843-766-7770.
