Yesteryear’s corner drugstore has been going strong at Sheldon’s since 1948. We suspect that some of the original staff still remains. Nostalgic patrons of all ages and walks of life plant themselves at the counter to breakfast on eggs, hash browns and watered-down coffee. At lunch, Sheldon’s fills the prescription for daily blue-plate specials with such comfort foods as meatloaf, spaghetti and meatballs and New York-style hot dogs .
