Shewitt Restaurant & Bar Restaurant Review:
Shewitt Restaurant & Bar offers both Eritrean and Ethiopian fare, crossing cultural borders, and the best dishes seem to be the braised preparations, such as the kilwa lamb, in which the small pieces of meat arrive at the table cooking in a delectable, savory sauce. Those familiar with Ethiopian food will recognize the doro wat, a chicken stew with boiled egg. We especially enjoy the seasoned sauce accompanying one the beef dishes --- break off pieces of the injera to savor every bit of it. Beer is the best quaff to accompany the food given its heat, but some wines are available (though dessert is not).
