| Here’s a magical Italian villa located right outside of the city that will transport you to Italy. Although ideal for a special occasion, the culinary-conscious frequent this romantic two-story spot with thick rock walls and a cozy fireplace for the authentic Tuscan cuisine. Chef Harvey Harris learned well from his time studying, training and living in Tuscany, relying on local, seasonal ingredients to inspire his dishes. Begin with bruschetta of wild boar ragù and buttery grilled bread, but save room for the pasta. We can’t resist the ravioli stuffed with artichokes, spinach and goat cheese smothered in a basil-tomato butter sauce. Segue to a satisfying secondi like the thick veal chop grilled simply with fresh herbs and extra virgin oil. Think you don’t have time for lunch? We like the Express Lunch menu with offerings such as sliced wood-grilled sirloin over assorted greens enlivened with a white truffle oil vinaigrette and shaved Reggiano cheese, or the fresh fish of the day. The wine list boasts an exhaustive selection of Italian bottles, and the bar scene clicks with guests enjoying choice wines served in crystal stemware. |
