Smokey’s Kitchen Restaurant Review

: The brawny, timbered tables at Smokey’s Kitchen provide a good platform (and plenty of paper towels) for tucking into ribs, chicken, beef brisket, and shredded pork by the pound. We recommend the barbecue sampler that comes with three choices (go for the brisket, the wings and the pulled pork) plus a side of cornbread. Ribs aren't as tender as we like them, but the spice of the buffalo wings had the right amount of heat. The restaurant's extensive breakfast menu also serves those on their way to the slopes: fuel up with a firefighter omelet, whole-grain oatmeal or a burrito filled with beans, egg, cheese, chilies and machaca (Mexican beef jerky). After the kids get sticky with barbecue sauce, let 'em get stickier with ice cream --- Smokey's has more than 10 milkshakes from which to choose.
