THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Soleil Restaurant Review:

Adorned with the warm periwinkle blue and hot crushed orange colors that we associate with the south of France, this small former residence is the setting for some of Buckhead's most reasonably priced bistro fare. Owned by Tate Clements and Destiny Sanderson, the operation has a good sense of what French bistro fare is supposed to be: fresh, simple and tasty. This is cassoulet country on Monday evenings in cool weather. For summer, expect intensely flavored cold tomato soup traced with basil oil. Pork tenderloin will come pink if so ordered, and the accompanying potato gratin and crisp broccoli (if that's what is done on a particular day) will support it most tastily. Salmon au poivre vert, duck breast with rosemary and honey demi-glace, pork with sage and whole grain mustard, roast chicken, risotto of the day---these are the tastes to expect. For dessert, go for the chocolate mousse. The short wine list has some decent selections with several by the glass, but we think it should be more firmly French than it is.
