Sol's is a hip little Tex-Mex joint in a very un-hip location, which has made it popular with the locals (lots of folks who left the hip world more or less behind when the kids came along). Best bets are the juicy beef fajitas and enchiladas, especially the spinach enchiladas, served here with ranchero sauce rather than the standard sour cream and cheese. Speaking of which, Sol's is lard-free which gives everything it makes, from the tri-colored tortilla chips to flour tortillas, a clean and refreshing taste and texture. And the margaritas are mighty fine too.
