 Sotto Varalli Restaurant Review: The street-level eatery beneath Upstares at Varelli's plays to its audience, offering a pre-theater three-course prix-fixe for $35, and a $60 tasting menu with wine. You just need to be sure to allow sufficient time for the tasting menu if you have theater tickets. Enjoy the classics brought by the efficient waitstaff. There are such treats as the giant mixed bruschetta platter, mussels in brodo and seafood risotto with lobster, crab, mussels and saffron, veal scaloppine or bucatini alla matriciana.
