Spiced Right Ribhouse BBQ Restaurant Review: The same recipes that put the original Spiced Right in Lilburn on the map are followed for the barbecue and sides at the Roswell location. While the brisket is quite good, the focus is on the ribs, tender and showing the pinkness of having been smoked over wood, and birds, that is, chickens, available in either quarters or halves. Pulled pork seems dry and under-seasoned. Do not miss the corn soufflé, and the fresh-tasting Brunswick stew is about as good as it gets these days. The only dessert is banana pudding, but this version doesn't merit consideration. Brews are the quaff of choice. Prices are just a notch higher here, in deference to the real estate values, but still very reasonable. Live blues starts at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday. |
