THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Spin Burger Bar Restaurant Review

: It may not be Sacramento’s first bicycle-themed restaurant, but Spin Burger Bar takes the velocipede seriously, with two-wheelers hanging from the ceilings, riding stickers plastered on the walls, even stationary bikes lined up in the back for guests to ride. Diners can even “spin” their own burger, adding a variety of cheeses, toppings and sauces that range from the ordinary---cheddar, bacon and barbecue---to the less-than-ordinary, such as manchego, fried egg and mango curry. For traditionalists, the generously portioned bacon cheeseburger is a hit with its simplicity, the custom-blended meat tender and moist, the soft artisan bun soaking up every bit of the house sauce. Other favorites include the meatballs, doused in a Dr. Pepper-infused spicy barbecue sauce, and the fried pickles, light and crispy and well-balanced with sriracha ranch. Finish off a meal with one of the specialty desserts, such as the Nutella milkshake with toasted marshmallow or the root beer float. The only miss is the inconsistent service, which can be slow and ambivalent at times.
