Spring Mill Cafe Restaurant Review: Tucked away on a quiet side street, about 16 miles west of Philadelphia, the romantic Spring Mill Café showcases local artists along with rustic French and international fare created by chef-owner Michele Haines. Haines, who learned to cook alongside her grandmother in the Touraine region of France, prepares her own pâté and holds unique special events such as a goose cooking demonstration and dinner. Housed in a nineteenth-century former general store, the café is the perfect setting to enjoy specialties like coquilles St-Jacques and cassoulet or the Tangier-style hen. Check out the three-course $25 prix-fixe offering Tuesdays through Thursdays. |
