Star Diner Restaurant Review: Like most classic American diners, this place offers a seemingly endless menu of comfort foods. Breakfasts are the typically sturdy egg/pancake/bacon/sausage varieties, with, of course, cereals, bagels and Belgian waffles as well. Sandwiches seem to be the kitchen’s favorite with everything from a classic Reuben to the always popular burgers in a choice of styles. As for entrées, you can stick to Mom’s home cooking with a choice of liver and onions or a plate of meatloaf with mashed potatoes or opt for something fancier like a tuna steak. Desserts, as you might expect, are caloric and decadent. Want something that tastes rich but aims to promote health? Try the fitness shake with yogurt, wheat germ and fresh fruit. |
