THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Steak Pit Restaurant Review:
When instead of seeing and being seen, all you really want is a good steak, a fresh salad and a comfortable ambience with minimal pretension, come to the Steak Pit. With its salad bar and nondescript retro-’70s ski-town style, this is a low-key subterranean spot where you’ll find pretty good steaks, prime rib, lobster and fresh fish, homemade soups and desserts. Proprietors Barbara and Peter Guy have been cutting and aging the steaks, and whipping up hot fudge for Mom’s Sundaes since 1960. You’ll also find this place kid and group friendly.
