 Art decks the walls at this sequel to the Wicker Park falafel spot, where lines often snake out the door. Mostly carryout, save for a few stools at the store’s front, you order at the counter, sidle up adjacent to the enticing salad bar and stacks of grab-and-go imports, or head out the door. Start with the za'atar bread, fragrant pita crusted with sesame seeds, thyme, sumac and oregano, or seek comfort in the lentil soup. The falafel’s pita is slathered with fiery chile sauce and filled with fluffy, crunchy fried chickpea balls; the chicken shwarma is nestled into a pita with lemony hummus, red onions, tomatoes and fresh, crunchy Jerusalem salad.
