Almost lost among typical storefronts in a suburban strip mall, My Sushi brings to life the concept that good sushi happens in the most unexpected places. Like an oasis of rice and seafood, the restaurant also exudes an Asian charm that seems at odds with the pizza place nearby. But if you are seeking sushi, this is a good place to start. To begin, the sushi chef works silently behind his bar, facing out to the dining room so he can keep an eye on customers. We recommend the alligator roll, not composed of alligator meat, as you might think, but resembling an alligator with the sushi pieces marching across the plate. Check out the daily specials from the specials menu and from the blackboard hung up by the sushi bar. Non-sushi offerings are available at night in the guise of teriyaki, tempura and udon dishes.
