When the sushi-bug bites you in the Napa Valley, choices can be few and far between. Located in downtown Napa, Sushi Mambo delivers fresh, first-rate sushi and sashimi, and Japanese hot entrées such as chicken teriyaki, sukiyaki dishes and an excellent beef udon. Service at the bar is the best bet, for both friendliness and speed, as it can get painfully slow elsewhere. Sushi rolls get a lot of attention, and some of the amusing names include the High Roller, Rolling Blackout and Señor Albacore.
