What do you do when you're ready for a Friday? Drive in to Foothills Center. At this popular, all-American chain, the staff always seems to be having as much fun as the customers. Generous portions are a hallmark, and the fare is satisfying, too. You could make a feast from appetizers alone: pot stickers, potato skins and jalapeño poppers. But you'll be just as satisfied if you skip straight to the broken noodles, heart-healthy tuna or Jack Daniels salmon. For the carnivore, Friday's offers one heck of a burger. It's a build-your-own with more than a dozen fixings and a heaping accompaniment of spicy fries. The giant desserts are notable, too.
