The Table Restaurant Review:

This is an urban foodie’s paradise, especially if you like things like whole roasted cauliflower, bone marrow with fennel jam, Scotch eggs, carrot buttermilk cauliflower soup with hazelnut chicory, pan-roasted trout and Anson Mills faro verde risotto with shiitake mushrooms. Brunch stands in for lunch, with chilaquiles that come with pulled pork or not. Same with eggs Benedict: go classic, smoked pork loin, salmon or vegetarian. All come with Acme green onion herb slab, a welcome substitute for mediocre hash browns. The emphasis is on fresh, piquant flavors that make your taste buds hunt for a new twist in the next bite. Especially good is the citrus-braised sugar beet salad with Sierra Nevada cream cheese, the applewood bacon melt and the special Table burger served with aged white cheddar. With tempting ice cream shops galore in Willow Glen, you can BYOD for $4 per person.
