Tacos and Beer Restaurant Review

: The next time you’re looking for good, cheap Mexican food, think Tacos and Beer, a casual, easily accessible restaurant right in the heart of the Garden District. The comfortable, no-frills interior has a prominent bar area, and there’s a big outdoor patio for dining and watching the traffic on one of the busiest thoroughfares in the city. Food is predictably American/Mexican with expected offerings of burritos, quesadillas, tacos, taco salads and burgers. The twist is an all-day breakfast menu that features huevos rancheros, breakfast burritos and several other Mexican items. True to its name, Tacos and Beer has an extensive brews list, as well as a limited wine selection. Worth mentioning are the diesel strength margaritas. Treat yourself to Mexican rice pudding or flan for dessert.
