True to its moniker, the rollicking joint offers first-rate soft corn tacos brimming with myriad meats---asada, tripe, carnitas, barbacoa, adobada, and shredded beef---and a fresh and fiery salsa bar, complete with requisite accoutrements such as cilantro, radishes, pickled jalapeños, pico de gallo, and lime wedges. The pork-laden green chile packs a tongue-scorching punch, while the fresh guacamole soothes the burn. Wash it all down with a real Mexican coke, lime-splashed margarita, or an icy cold cerveza, preferably a Tecate.
