Tako Korean BBQ Restaurant Review: With its friendly service, casual vibe and inexpensive fare, Tako has established itself as a neighborhood favorite. Housed in a refurbished mid-century gas station on a busy street corner, it's a popular place to relax and watch the world go by. The space is tiny, but an outdoor eating area doubles the size. The menu features grilled, Korean-style meats, including short ribs, chicken, pork and steak, which can be stuffed in a burrito, added to a rice bowl or folded into a taco. Grilled tofu and marinated vegetables are available for the non-meat eaters, as is the popular kimchi quesadilla. Wash it all down with a glass of wine, a cold beer or one of several creative soju cocktails made with Korean rice liquor.
