 Tanner Jacks Restaurant Review: Tanner Jacks revels in being a fun, family-friendly, neighborhood joint with full-on Western kitsch. That said, it’s still a good spot for hearty, meat-centric dining. Favored beef dishes include the oak-grilled tri-tip, the top sirloin cap steak and smoked brisket, but we also like the baby-back ribs and the lollipop lamb chops. (Note that most meats come with barbecue sauce, so if you’re not a fan, be sure to order accordingly.) For a lighter meal, try the hearty chili or Western spinach salad. If you’re inclined to consider a dessert (entrées all come with sides), go for the bread pudding with whiskey sauce. The wine list is so-so, but there’s a full bar and Tanner Jacks also makes its own microbrews. Check out the early bird dinner specials, hearty breakfasts, and Sunday brunch buffet with cooked-to-order omelets. |
