Ted’s Bulletin in Gaithersburg offers familiar American comfort food (nothing exotic) in a very busy setting. Service is pleasant, despite the crush of crowds. Breakfast is served all day long; choices include the usual eggs, pancakes and omelets, plus the TUBS, a Ted’s breakfast sandwich filled with eggs, bacon, sausage and melted cheese. Try a burger, or among the salads, the Ty Cobb, sprinkled with bacon, vegetables and your choice of meat toppings. Milkshakes are available in many flavors. The must-order dessert is chocolate cream pie, a heap of creamy chocolate custard finished with another heap of fresh whipped cream. Short on time?
