Ted's Cafe Escondido Restaurant Review: You may stand in line an hour to get into Ted’s, but people do it every day and keep coming back again and again. Part of the appeal is the enticing aromas wafting through the open door. It could also be the size of the servings --- nothing short of generous. Many patrons wait for the chance to get Ted’s famous fajitas, marinated overnight and grilled to order in a red-hot skillet with green peppers and onions. All meals are accompanied by complimentary fresh chips, salsa, queso, and homemade flour tortillas --- with free sopapillas for dessert. As a side note --- although the other locations all have full bars, this restaurant only serves beer since it is situated in a more residential area. |
