| Terry's Turf Club doesn’t exactly offer fine dining. Burgers come on paper plates and the floor is covered in peanut shells. But you can get fancy fixings --- everything from foie gras to jamón Ibérico, goat cheese and Thai peanut sauce, and burgers come on Shadeau Bakery buns. The limited menu is mostly for carnivores, but Terry’s also offers a vegetarian-friendly portobello sandwich. Those seeking fish may choose from cod, mahi, salmon, tuna and halibut. Fortunately, you can’t miss this place, with its neon cowboy sign outside. But get here early if you want a seat. And don’t be disappointed by the plastic utensils --- if it makes you feel better, you get a real glass with your beer. |
