Terry's Turf Club Restaurant Review: Terry's Turf Club doesn’t exactly offer fine dining. Burgers come on paper plates and the floor is covered in peanut shells. But you can get fancy fixings --- everything from foie gras to jamón Ibérico, goat cheese and Thai peanut sauce, and burgers are served on Shadeau bakery buns. No other burger joint in town has a choice of six sauces, like peanut garlic or roasted red peppers and goat cheese. The limited menu is mostly for carnivores, with items like filet mignon chili with pork tenderloin and fresh herbs. There’s also a vegetarian-friendly portobello sandwich. Those seeking fish might choose from cod, mahi, salmon, tuna or halibut. Fortunately, you can’t miss this place, with its neon cowboy sign outside. Don’t be disappointed by the plastic utensils --- at least you get a real glass with your beer. |
