Thai Sticks in the Museum District offers a Zen-like dining room, private rooms and a patio. The menu focuses on contemporary Thai food with very spicy hot dishes not for the timid. Start with the Candle Rolls that combine Thai tastes with Canadian cheese, lightly fried into a spring roll topped with a sweet garlic sauce. The house special is called Bangkok duck, comprising a half roasted duck with a ginger sauce served with mixed vegetables; we also suggest the lamb chops and seafood offerings. Tofu may be substituted for the meat in most of the entrées. There’s a nice little wine list and martinis from the bar to round off the meal.
