Tokyo Bay Restaurant Review: This is a place where you can find sushi and tofu, and for the restaurant-challenged residents in the Bayway area of south St. Petersburg, Tokyo Bay offers a surprising variety---more than many other local Japanese restaurants. There are hot and cold appetizers, from pork or shrimp shu mai to tofu or tuna tataki, with ginger and garlic sauce. Entrées cover the tempura gamut, but also include stir-fried ginger beef, chicken, seafood and vegetables. But don't stop there. The sushi menu also includes about 100 selections. This place is also surprisingly dessert savvy: try the tempura ice cream with green tea. |
