Dining at Tokyo-Tokyo is a full sensory experience engaging the diner on every level. The open air lanai calms and the service is unobtrusive while the attractively presented food whets the appetite. The menu favors Wagyu beef choices, but you don't want to miss the sushi offerings---just ask for what is fresh that day---you will not be disappointed. If you can't decide, select one of the two prix-fixe menus which provide a selection of appetizers, choice of entrée, five pieces of sushi and a dessert. We like the Tokyo Tuna Rose crafted from sushi-grade tuna and served with black sesame sauce, and shrimp lovers will go for the shrimp and mozzarella wrapped in yuba and shisho then deep fried to a delicate crisp. Frankly, we could dine on appetizers and sushi alone here and the restaurant will not blink twice if you chose to do this as well. The elegant setting and subtly dramatic cuisine is a good mix for those who enjoy a little culinary excitement.
