Brothers Leonardo and Alfonso Curti are behind this busy Italian oasis sitting at the end of Sagunto Street, surrounded by vistas of rolling hills, and next door to the Valley’s nighttime hot-spot, the Maverick Saloon. Workers from the vineyards show up in their cowboy boots to feast on authentic Italian cuisine in the loud, but pleasantly communal, atmosphere. Pizzas, fresh fish and tender roast chicken are cooked in the wood-burning oven. A diverse selection of Californian and Italian wines complements the hearty fare. Fun desserts, such as coconut sorbet in a coconut shell, seem impossible to face after the generous portions at dinner but are indeed worth making room for.
