Trattoria Monti Restaurant Review

: Trattoria Monti specializes in the cuisine of Italy’s Le Marche region. Tortinos make a fine starter, and the rabbit dishes are the highlights of the menu. Try either the rabbit stuffed with truffles or the rabbit casserole with potatoes. For dessert, don’t miss the seasonal wild strawberries encased in a gelatin flavored with sweet wine and topped with fresh peach sauce and vanilla gelato. You’ll most likely need reservations to dine at this small yet lively place, located close by Santa Maria Maggiore. It’s run by brothers Enrico and Daniele Camerucci, with their mother Franca, or “Momma,” in the kitchen.
