Handsome and charming in both décor and service, Trattoria Sole appeals to locals eager for a little touch of glamour in conservative South Miami. Everything seems extremely fresh. Slightly nutty pumpkin ravioli is outstanding. Butter and sage delicately lace spinach and ricotta ravioli. Translucent beef carpaccio is a standout. The prevalence of basic, but well-executed, Tuscan dishes and of fine Italian wines add up to an enjoyable, yet affordable meal. It’s getting more popular with growing crowds, so we suggest calling ahead for reservations.
