TRIA An American Brasserie Restaurant Review

: With more than 50 wines by the glass and wines by the bottle from all over the world, TRIA is an ideal place to sip while sampling the extensive menu, which is based on sustainable and seasonal ingredients. House specialties include classic Southern chicken and waffles as well as sliders with blue cheese and red onion jam, and braised lamb tacos with pickled squash, onions and chile. The Henry burger is made with Black Angus beef and topped with fire-roasted peppers, crispy pork confit and Muenster cheese. Not to be ignored are the cold small plates, such as salt roasted beets with marinated feta and walnuts. Ditto the large plates, like an Italian-bent mix of chicken, garlic sausage and beef cheek in a savory broth. Save room for the triple chocolate cake and Key lime pie. There’s a full bar and some 60 beers, mostly artisan brews from Michigan, while a rotation of barrel-aged cocktails are created with specially aged tequila, vodka, whiskey, rum and gin.
