| The most sophisticated outpost of the locally-owned family of Tutta Bella pizzerias, this Lake Union spot offers views of the Space Needle. Boasting an official stamp from Naples-based Associazione Vera Pizza Napoletana, the menu stars a soft but thin crust pizza with a fragrant sauce, a sprinkling of fresh herbs, and creamy fresh mozzarella. Cooked quickly in a 1,100-degree apple wood-fueled oven, the pies are crispy and light. Topped with San Marzano-based tomato sauce, the crusts are an ideal backdrop for such additions as prosciutto and arugula, or artichokes with roasted red pepper, roasted zucchini, herbed mushrooms and various cheeses. Match your pizza with a modestly priced salad, be it the classic Caesar or the Tutta Bella Mista with carrots, white beans, olives and vinaigrette. The beer and wine list offers affordable selections; cocktails are available too. |
