THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Twenty Four Restaurant Review:

Named for the number worn by the incomparable Willie Mays, Twenty Four is a four-bagger all the way. Even though the 250-seat restaurant is huge, the use of wood and luxury appointments helps to create a macho-clubby atmosphere. Start with the poached shrimp and artichoke appetizer or the lovely crab chowder. On the entrée side the stews and steaks are alluring, but the fish is the star. We loved the wild salmon with artichokes, seared rockfish and roasted monkfish. Save room for the re-invented banana split or the chocolate bread pudding. The mostly California wine list is priced higher than a pop fly.
