Uno Chicago Bar & Grill Restaurant Review: With a pizza recipe that dates back to the 1940s, this restaurant is a Chicago institution. The chain was renamed as a Bar & Grill to emphasize its other entrées, including pastas, burgers, wraps and fajitas. It's the pizza, however, that still shines---deep dish and thin crust. Both are good choices, and include a savory sauce made of chunky tomatoes. You can order half pizzas for a starter, or for a lighter meal---choose between Mediterranean, four-cheese or eggplant, spinach and feta. The Chicago classic deep dish is a standout, with crumbled sausage, chunky tomato sauce, mozzarella and grated Romano. |
