Versailles Bistro & Patisserie Restaurant Review

: Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch, this restaurant-pâtisserie covers all the bases when it comes to French fare. The charming Gallic-inspired décor of warm wood and gleaming tile floors draws in the well-heeled locals. Appetizers include such classic starters as the sweet-and-sour quince and farmer cheese puffed pastry and Burgundy snails bathed in sizzling garlic and parsley butter. Follow with the butternut squash risotto slow-cooked in a vegetable stock with Parmesan and sage, and the wild shrimp sautéed in olive oil, garlic, shallots, tomato and Pastis over rice-based gluten-free pasta. Enjoy your meal with a nice selection from a very French wine menu, everything from apéritifs to digestifs and eau de vie. Fruity tarts and macarons, among other choices, are equally satisfying for dessert, at breakfast or with coffee at any time of the day.

Love, love, LOVE Versailles!

Our whole family loves Versailles. The worst thing about going there is trying to decide what to have for breakfast. Blueberry pancakes? Yum. Omletes? Yum. Croissants are fresh and totally awesome. Quiches are magnificent--we often buy one to take home. My kids love the fruit tarts. Ambiance is warm and cozy, yet still sophisticated and French. :D
