Versailles Bistro & Patisserie Restaurant Review

: Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch, this restaurant-pâtisserie covers all the bases when it comes to French fare. The charming Gallic-inspired décor of warm wood and gleaming tile floors draws in the well-heeled locals. Appetizers include such classic starters as grilled asparagus with lemon-scented red beet emulsion, and grilled heirloom pork and chicken sausages served with roasted spiced apples in a cider vinegar reduction. Follow with the Massachusetts sole filets sautéed with fresh lemon juice, white wine, butter and parsley and served with baby spinach over pearl couscous with its touch of Moroccan flair. Raw grass-fed beef with traditional condiments and a side of fries is also available. Almond, chocolate and pistachio croissants, pain au chocolat, apple turnover and brioche Parisienne, among other choices, are equally satisfying for dessert, at breakfast or with coffee at any time of the day.

Love, love, LOVE Versailles!

Our whole family loves Versailles. The worst thing about going there is trying to decide what to have for breakfast. Blueberry pancakes? Yum. Omletes? Yum. Croissants are fresh and totally awesome. Quiches are magnificent--we often buy one to take home. My kids love the fruit tarts. Ambiance is warm and cozy, yet still sophisticated and French. :D
