Vic & Anthony's is the classic Vegas steakhouse, ideal for the old school downtown experience. The dark wooded room is accented by red curtains and mahogany, leather backed chairs, and colored glass chandeliers dimly light the space. Starters such as Petrossian caviar or oysters on the half shell are a classic beginning, but we like the maple glazed quail, its sweetness balanced with a fiery sriracha hot sauce. Enjoy the rich lobster bisque finished with Cognac or a hefty steakhouse chopped salad of greens mixed with cheese, salami and tossed with an herb vinaigrette. Meat lovers will rejoice in the 24-ounce bone-in rib-eye, as well as the rack of lamb served au jus. The wine selection is reasonable, and the buttery croissant bread pudding is a sweet finish to the meal.
