Vinsetta Garage Restaurant Review: This trendy restaurant is housed in the oldest garage east of the Mississippi, a classic brick and glass exterior accented with neon signage --- the style is best described as vintage garage chic. Don’t expect frou-frou food here. For appetizers, consider the coal-fired bread sticks or beer-battered cheese curds. The signature pizzas don't disappoint. Dinner offerings such as Otto's Farm half chicken, brined and roasted golden brown with whole-grain mustard gravy; a slow-smoked rib-eye; or the Union Mac with ham, Vermont sharp cheddar, Pinconning cheese and penne in a béchamel sauce with a crunchy Parmesan crust are sure to satisfy. Desserts include banana pudding topped with a toffee sauce and house-made crushed vanilla wafers, as well as the malted molten chocolate cake filled with house-made liquid nitrogen-churned vanilla custard, finished with crushed Cap'n Crunch. There are 22 beers on tap, and wine and liquor, too.
