Hefty pours, a smart French bistro menu, informed servers and 60 wines by the glass give this handsome restaurant real star power. Many bottles are in the $30 range, another plus, as is the option to sample a trio of three-ounce pours in a mix and match wine flight. The décor includes a winsome wine bottle chandelier, exposed brick and moody lighting, adding up to a relaxed yet sophisticated vibe. As for the cuisine, we recommend the fig and Gorgonzola bruschetta, garlicky escargots and duck salad with honey truffle vinaigrette. Or try one of the best burgers in town, topped with manchego cheese, even better paired with a nice Barolo. Feeling less carnivorous? Opt for an equally good house-made veggie burger. |
