| Owners Sam and Lori DiBattista welcome you to their intimate restaurant as they would to their own home. The dining room glows softly with a forest of “natural light”---bulbs hung from the ceiling, plus scores of flickering candles. Modern artwork lines the walls. Sink into one of the upholstered armchairs pulled up to marble-topped tables. The restaurant is committed to fresh, local ingredients, and a daily-changing verbal menu announces availability: Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese drizzled with 100-year-old balsamic vinegar, venison osso buco with plum tomatoes and oranges, or prosciutto-wrapped scallops. Entrées include pasta, fresh vegetables and salad. For dessert indulge in Lori’s panna cotta, Peppermint Patty gelato or fresh fruit sorbets. The DiBattista's are experimenting with offering family-style Sunday dinners, but check first. Bring your own wine. |
