THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED A Voce Columbus Restaurant Review:

This outpost of the original A Voce on Madison Square Park features window seating overlooking Columbus Circle, and an elevated bar (where you can also dine). In the starkness of the white dining room, nothing detracts from the inventive and traditional Italian cuisine, except, perhaps, the striking wine refrigerators that form a wall backdrop and frame the corridors. As attentive servers parade out plates of well-executed Italian fare, sip the signature Il Tartufo, a Manhattan that includes truffle-infused vermouth, or a glass of wine from the Biblical list. Chef Riccardo Bilotta (Il Pellicano in Tuscany), who arrived in early 2015, is on top of his game. Start with the burratina, two patties of creamy burrata accented with pumpkin purée, before moving on to the rich and hearty duck ragoût tagliatelle or the subtle Swiss chard-and-crescenza-stuffed cappelletti in a brown butter sauce. Secondi include pollo al mattone, which is delivered, appropriately enough, in brick form and emboldened with a supporting cast of prosciutto, lemon and olive purée. For a sweet finish, don't overlook the zeppole, raspberry jam-filled donuts.
