 Volare Restaurant Review: There is a comfort level to this restaurant that is as appealing as the food. Particularly enjoyable are the classic dishes, such as broiled whitefish in paprika-accented lemon-caper sauce, homemade gnocchi cloaked with a rich vodka sauce and, one of our favorites, rigatoni in a spicy tomato sauce with garlic and pancetta. Two desserts that are particularly noteworthy are the panna cotta and chocolate tart. The staff knows Italian food from antipasti to zuppa. Fortunately for city-shy suburbanites, there’s another outpost in Oak Brook Terrace (1919 S. Myers Rd., 630-495-0200).
