THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Whaler's Brew Pub Restaurant Review:

Cast adrift behind the Kauai Marriott Beach Resort, this pub offers folks the happy opportunity to dine while enjoying an outstanding view of Kalapaki Bay and the stunning Haupu mountain range. This was Kauai's first brewpub and it has the noisy, bustling ambience so often found in restaurants that are predominantly watering holes. If you come for pupus, or appetizers, sample some of the seven house ales on tap and nibble on something from the oyster bar. The menu is predictable and safe: fresh fish, pasta, baby-back ribs and a signature 20-ounce burger. Whaler's is casual and fun, although the food is certainly nothing spectacular. Still, the view, and the home-brewed beers make it worth a visit. The Sunday beer brunch is a favorite with sports fans.
