![]() Whole Hog Cafe & Catering Restaurant Review: A whole hog is what you will be tempted to order when you taste the tender barbecue made even better by home-made sauces. This original location of Whole Hog Café was opened in Little Rock in 2000 by barbecue devotees Ron Blasingame and Mike “Sarge” Davis. Specialties include the pulled pork, which is dry rubbed with a secret spice blend and then hickory smoked for 12 hours. Hearty appetites might opt for the “Whole Hawg Platter,” featuring beef brisket, baby back ribs and pulled pork, as well as beans, potato salad, coleslaw and a dinner roll. There are seven different sauces to complement the meat, but the Volcano sauce is so hot it’s offered only at the counter. “Whole Hog Buddy Paks” serve enough to feed four or eight diners. |
