Wildflower American Cuisine Restaurant Review: Whether for lunch or dinner, Wildflower is a great place to enjoy time with friends and family. The food is labeled Modern American, but the culinary influences are a bit worldlier. Chicken street tacos are a fine example, as is the Asian chicken salad. Pastas rotate in and out, but the ravioli, whatever the filling may be, is quite popular. Some diners make the starter of black mussels with chorizo, garlic and tomato confit a main course --- and why not? Seafood runs from steelhead salmon to Spanish paella. Desserts are created by Karen ‘Spike’ Ames, and should not be skipped, especially her classic Bars of Zin. The wine list is ever-changing but always features boutique options as well as more reasonably priced choices. And while the dining room is open and full of light, the patio continues to be one of the best in town.
