THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant & décor: Upon entering, a long bar and spacious open kitchen lend authenticity to the restaurant’s bar and grill moniker. The room gives off a warm vibe with large windows, corrugated steel, repurposed wood walls, wood tables, Edison lights and an industrial black ceiling.

Likes: This location in the ’burbs has significantly lower prices than the same-named Puck eatery at the MGM Grand.
Dislikes: While the beer list is well rounded with a variety of beer styles, surprisingly there is only one local beer in the selection.

Food & Drinks: Must-have starters are the simply-made but quite addictive truffle chips topped with a blue cheese sauce and just the right amount of truffle; and hummus vegetable crudité with sourdough pita made from the same sourdough starter Wolfgang Puck introduced to his restaurants more than 30 years ago. Main course winners include the spicy Calabrian brick chicken with shishito peppers, which despite the name only brings mild heat to the table; and salmon en papillote with roasted tomatoes and fennel, cooked and served in parchment paper to retain its moisture. A dessert unique to this outpost is the crème brûlée made with fresh vanilla bean topped with blackberries and blueberries; and one that is found at all Puck restaurants is the chocolate chip cookies, which are made from scratch and religiously follow Puck’s iconic recipe. The fare is matched with a well-chosen wine list comprised of 60 choices mainly from California, with a smattering from France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
